Secretary's Message

Secretaries Message

Fayette Lodge will now be able to to keep you abreast with timely information such as the infomercial you have just seen.    [ I hope you got a chuckle or two from it]   And I hope you will begin to visit our new dynamic website to keep up with what we are doing.     I will now begin to provide new pages designed specifically to keep you abreast of interesting books to read and provide Masonic historical articles for each of you to learn more about our fraternity.    I was recently compiling information about how many presidents were Masons and I came across a site, which was devoted to 14 presidents who were Masons.    The last Mason in the White House was Gerald Ford.    The qualities that Ford provided the country at a time of great stress in our nation was his integrity and honesty.    As we listen to the speeches of our newly elected candidates, which individuals give you confidence in having those qualities of honesty and integrity?    Life has certainly taken on new meaning in American over the past ten years and it is again time that the Masonic Fraternity begin a public practice of demonstrating the lessons we have learned and held sacred through our long and distinguished history.   There is much work to be done on our Tresleboard.   So join us when asked to help our new young officers get Fayette Lodge back to those days of glory when we would feel good by simply help others through our service.

With all the news regarding Fayette Lodge needing to change the way we stay in touch with our members and the craft we want to hear from you.  Please stay in touch with the lodge and let us know how we can serve you with our new web tools.   And yes, the 2009 dues notice will be in the mail soon and we are taking a new approach sending you the notice in a standard envelop with a Holiday message from the Master.

May you all enjoy the Holiday season and may you have a very successful  2009 year.
Fraternally,
Perne R. Maynard, PM
Fayette Secretary
